JULY 16, 2011 - DIVE CLUB of RI "SEA HUNT" Dive Club of Rhode Island sponsored by Giant Stride Dive Shop will be having a "Sea Hunt" on Saturday where divers will dive for clam shells with numbers painted on them. The numbers will be from 1 to 40...lowest number will get choice of prizes. 1 prize per entry until each diver/participant has claimed a prize. There will be Food and drinks for participants. Entry fee is $20.00 cash in advance and $25.00 the day of. We will be accepting Dive Club of Rhode Island members at this event for the modest fee of just $15.00 if you would like to join. Please bring Certification Card when signing up. Sign ups can be done at Giant Stride Dive Shop or at The Sea Hunt Event at Ft. Adams (behind Eisenhower House) From 10 am to 11:45 am Hunt starts at 12 Noon Sharp! High tide is at 1:30pm so viz should be good and current fairly slack. Prizes thus far include a 7 day Live Aboard trip in the Bahamas aboard Blackbeards Charters, Aeris XR1Nx dive computer, Hollis Fins, Aqualung Micromask, Atomic Frameless mask, Waterproof wetsuit, Tusa Computer and more...Please enroll in advance by remitting the entry fee and getting on the sign up list. The more entries we get the more Prizes we will have.
